Repair Center - Pricing
Please be aware that each repair project is unique, and that TopRepair only quotes an exact price after we have had an opportunity to complete a thorough inspection of your project.
However, the following guidelines and examples should give you a general idea of what you can expect to pay for the most common types of repair services we provide. If you provide us with a detailed description of your specific problem (digital photos are very helpful), we can give you a much more accurate estimate of the cost of your specific repair.

In every case, TopRepair guarantees a dramatic improvement in the appearance of your countertops, at a price far less than it would cost you to replace your countertops.
Our minimum repair fee is $200.00.
LEVEL 1 - $200 to $500
Sand & buff your kitchen countertops
Even though your older solid surface countertops may be showing signs of wear and tear, their appearance can be improved dramatically. We can remove nicks and scratches, and buff your countertops until they shine like new again. The price depends on the size of the kitchen and the extent of the wear. Other options include re-caulking splashes, buffing sinks, and filling deeper nicks and chips.
LEVEL 2 - $550 to $700
Repair a crack or a failed seam
Using routers and an accurate template system, TopRepair will remove the damaged area, and then we will patch and reinforce the countertop. The result is an inconspicuous and durable repair.
LEVEL 3 - $650 to $800
Repair two or three cracks or failed seams.

LEVEL 4 - $900 to $1800
Example A - Replace a cracked solid surface sink
TopRepair will disconnect your plumbing, remove and replace the cracked old sink with a new sink of the same model, and then reconnect the plumbing. The price depends on the model of the sink and the complexity of the plumbing. The result is seamless, sanitary and looks just like your original sink installation.
Example B - Remove an old sink of another type, and install a new solid surface sink or stainless steel sink.
TopRepair will disconnect your plumbing, remove your beat up old sink, whether cast iron or stainless steel, and replace it with a new solid surface or stainless steel sink. We will then reconnect your plumbing. The price depends on the model of sink you select, and the difference in size between the old and the new sink.
Example C - Repair one or more cooktop cracks and install a custom stainless steel cooktop collar.
TopRepair has pioneered an in-depth repair procedure that is over 99% effective in solving chronic or multiple heat related cracks adjacent to cooktops. Our stainless steel cooktop collars are custom-fabricated to match your specific model and color of cooktop. The result is a professional and durable repair that is highly resistant to future failures.
LEVEL 5 - $1500 and up
These are complex repair projects involving multiple combinations of Level 1 through Level 4 repairs. Other possibilities include relocating or rebuilding countertops in connection with kitchen remodeling projects. We can also upgrade from caulked backsplashes to coved backsplashes. Such repairs usually take more than one day to complete. We guarantee a dramatic improvement in the appearance of your countertops, and that your cost will be far less than replacing the countertops.
OUR TRAVEL FEE POLICY
TopRepair provides countertop repair services throughout California and Nevada, using our fleet of energy-efficient Honda Fit vehicles. The Honda Fit is rated in the Top 10 by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency for both fuel economy and greenhouse gas emissions.
We do not charge any travel fees for total round trip mileage less than 100 miles from our headquarters in American Canyon, CA, which is just off Interstate 80 in southern Napa County. The nearest major cities are Vallejo, Napa and Fairfield. For travel over 100 miles total, we charge a travel fee of $1.00 for each additional mile. For trips requiring an overnight stay, we will also charge for hotels and meals while on the road.
INITIAL PAYMENTS
At the time that you schedule your appointment, we will request an initial payment to ensure that you are fully committed to proceeding with the repair. The amount of this initial payment is negotiable. Please notify us immediately if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If we can schedule another customer's repair for that time slot, we will be happy to refund your payment. Otherwise, your initial payment is non-refundable up to our minimum repair fee of $200.00. In that case, we will refund any balance above $200.00.
HOURLY FEES
TopRepair's hourly fee is $95.00 per hour for a skilled repair technician working alone, and $150.00 per hour for a crew of two repair technicians. Our minimum repair fee is $200.00.
